- Services
Clear Lake Maids LLC offers residential and commercial cleaning services, including standard, deep clean, and move-in/move-out cleaning. By booking services, you agree to provide accurate information regarding your cleaning needs and agree to the terms of service delivery as outlined.
What We Do Not Clean:
- Exterior Windows: For safety and liability reasons, we do not clean exterior windows.
- Chandeliers and Delicate Light Fixtures: We do not clean chandeliers or other delicate fixtures that require special handling or equipment.
- Human and Pet Waste: We do not clean human waste, pet waste, or any biohazardous materials, including bodily fluids.
- Mold Removal: We do not provide specialized mold remediation services.
- Heavy Lifting or Moving: Our cleaners do not move heavy furniture or appliances, or items greater than 20 lbs, as part of the cleaning process.
- Use of Ladders: Our cleaners do not use ladders of any height. For safety reasons, we only clean reachable surfaces using step stools or long-handled tools.
If you require specialized cleaning services not offered by Clear Lake Maids LLC, we recommend hiring professionals who are equipped to handle those specific tasks.
- Booking and Payment
- Booking: Clients can book services online, by phone, or by email. Bookings are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to decline or reschedule bookings.
- Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the cleaning service or as otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards as payment as stated on our website.
- Cancellation Policy: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a $70 cancellation fee and may incur an additional fee of 50% of the scheduled service.
- Pricing
Our prices are based on the type and scope of cleaning services requested. Prices quoted are estimates and may vary based on the condition of the property and any additional services required. We will communicate any changes in pricing before performing the service.
If a customer books a cleaning service for a smaller home and the cleaner arrives to find that the property is larger than indicated, Clear Lake Maids LLC reserves the right to adjust the pricing accordingly or reschedule the service to accommodate the additional time and effort required.
If a customer books a standard cleaning service and the home is found to be significantly dirtier than expected, Clear Lake Maids LLC reserves the right to recommend an upgrade to a deep cleaning service to ensure thorough and satisfactory results.
- 100% Satisfaction Service Guarantee
We are committed to providing high-quality cleaning services. Our services are personalized to each customer, therefore, Clear Lake Maids LLC does not offer refunds. However, please contact us within 24hours after the booking start time if you have any complaints about your cleaning service. We do not offer refunds, but we would offer you a free re-clean if we are notified within 24hours of the initial cleaning. Customers must list, with pictures, areas of the home that were missed during the initial cleaning. Any areas not listed within 24hrs of the initial cleaning will not be honored in the re-clean. Our free re-cleans will take place within 24hrs to 48hrs. The customer must be available to grant access to the cleaners for the re-clean.
- Client Responsibilities
- Access: Clients are responsible for providing access to their property at the scheduled time. If our cleaners are unable to access the property, a cancellation fee will apply.
- Safety: Clients are required to ensure the safety of the environment, including securing pets and valuables during the cleaning.
- Special Requests: Any specific cleaning instructions or requests must be communicated in advance. We will make every effort to accommodate them but cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled.
- Limitations of Liability
Clear Lake Maids LLC will not be liable for:
- Damage or Loss: Any damage to property or loss of items that is not caused by our cleaners’ negligence.
- Delays: Any delays or failure to perform services due to factors outside our control, such as severe weather, accidents, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Health Issues: We are not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues caused by cleaning products unless we were informed in advance of specific sensitivities or allergies.
- Use of Website
By accessing our website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from:

- Assessment: Upon notification, we will assess the damage and, if we are found to be responsible, we will offer to repair, replace, or reimburse you for the damaged item, up to a reasonable amount. We reserve the right to request proof of value for high-value items.
- Exclusions: Clear Lake Maids LLC is not liable for damages caused by:

- Any items that were not secured or disclosed as fragile or high-value prior to the cleaning service.

- Limits of Liability: For any damages that occur, our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the specific item, and not the entire set or collection (e.g., one dish in a set of plates).
- Client Responsibility: We ask that clients safely store fragile or valuable items in a secure location and inform us of any special instructions regarding delicate items prior to the cleaning service.
15. Theft Accusations
Clear Lake Maids LLC maintains a strict policy against theft and holds our cleaning professionals to the highest standards of integrity. In the event of a theft accusation, the following terms apply:
- Reporting a Theft: If you believe that an item is missing or has been stolen, you must notify us within 24 hours of the cleaning service. Contact us at [email protected] with details of the missing item and any supporting evidence.
- Investigation: Upon receiving a report of alleged theft, we will conduct an internal investigation. This may include interviewing the cleaning professional(s) involved, reviewing service logs, and communicating with you for additional details. We may also request your cooperation in filing a formal police report if necessary.
- Employee Trust and Integrity: All Clear Lake Maids employees undergo background checks prior to hiring. We take accusations seriously, and any confirmed incidents of theft will result in immediate termination of the employee and legal action as required.
- Limits of Liability: Clear Lake Maids LLC is not liable for any loss of items that cannot be proven to have been taken by our employees. We recommend that all valuable and irreplaceable items are stored securely before service. We are not responsible for lost or misplaced items that are not directly linked to our service.
- False Claims: We take theft accusations seriously. If an investigation finds that an accusation is false, Clear Lake Maids LLC reserves the right to cease providing services to the client. Legal action may be taken in the case of fraudulent claims.
16. Securing Pets
Clear Lake Maids LLC cares about the safety of your pets and our cleaning professionals. To ensure a smooth and safe service, the following terms apply:
- Pet Safety: Clients are responsible for securing their pets during the scheduled cleaning service. This includes keeping pets in a separate room, crate, or area where they will not interfere with the cleaning process or pose a safety risk to themselves or our cleaners.
- Access to Areas: If your pet is in a specific room or area that you would like cleaned, please make arrangements to secure your pet elsewhere so our team can access the area. Clear Lake Maids LLC is not responsible for rooms or areas left inaccessible due to unsecured pets.
- Pet Behavior: If a pet exhibits aggressive behavior or presents a danger to our staff, we reserve the right to refuse service or terminate the cleaning session. In such cases, a cancellation fee may apply.
- No Liability for Pets: Clear Lake Maids LLC is not responsible for pets escaping or being injured during cleaning services. We recommend that pets be securely contained or supervised to prevent any incidents.
17. Move-Out/Move-In Cleanings
For all move-out and move-in cleanings provided by Clear Lake Maids LLC, the following conditions must be met to ensure the service can be performed effectively:
- Water and Electricity: The property must have running water and electricity at the time of service. These utilities are essential for cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and using cleaning solutions. If utilities are not available, the cleaning will be rescheduled, and a cancellation fee may apply.
- No Contractors or Movers: The property must be vacant of contractors, movers, or other service personnel during the cleaning. The presence of additional workers can impede our cleaners’ ability to perform their duties safely and efficiently. If other personnel are present, Clear Lake Maids LLC reserves the right to reschedule the cleaning or refuse service.
- Property Empty and Trash Removed: The property must be fully empty of personal belongings and all trash removed prior to our arrival. Our move-out/move-in cleaning services are designed to focus on cleaning surfaces, not on clearing out personal items or debris. If belongings or trash are left behind, this may result in additional fees or incomplete service.
By booking a move-out or move-in cleaning, you agree to these conditions. Failure to meet these requirements may result in delays, additional charges, or cancellation of service.
